Enabling additional logging on the VA (VA Versions 1.3 and older) (4046598)

VA replications have been failing and need additional logging to determine cause.

Replications failing for undefined reasons and need more logging from VA...

How to Enable more logging

1. Ssh into the VA using Putty, etc. (User is unable to cut and paste from the VI Client Console)
2. Log into the VA.
3. Copy and paste the following:
   cat > /etc/syslog.conf <<EOF

auth,authpriv.* -/var/log/auth.log

*.*;auth,authpriv.none -/var/log/sys.log

daemon.* -/var/log/daemon.log

kern.* -/var/log/kern.log

mail.* -/var/log/mail.log

user.* -/var/log/user.log

*.emerg *

EOF

1. Reboot or restart syslogd.
