After reboot of the vRanger computer, API service does not start. Message in Event Viewer: Could not start the vRanger Api Service on local computer Error 1053: The Service did not respond to the start or control request in timely fashion.
Follow these steps to uninstall vRanger (you can keep the database intact)
-Open a CMD prompt
-Change directory to ' c:\windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.0\Windows Communication Foundation'
-Run the command: "ServiceModelReg.exe -i"
- Restart the computer and reinstall vRanger
