Error Message: VM <vmname_Replica> is in an invalid connection state for the current operation
Description

My Replication jobs start to fail with Error Message: VM <vmname_Replica> is in an invalid connection state for the current operation.
Cause

The vCenter lost connection to the host where target (Replica) VM is residing. Look at picture below:
Resolution

Please reconnect your ESX host to your vCenter. Replication should proceed as normal.
