Please know that Net Vault Smart Disk uses the following ports by default to communicate with vRanger 5.4. It must be understood if you intend to use ports different than the ones listed you are recommended to make port changes prior to adding the NVSD repository to the vRanger configuration.
The default configuration of NVSD uses port 37453 to communicate with vRanger instances that are streaming data to the NVSD Device. NVSD also uses port 37451 for Inter Process Communication (IPC) on the loopback interface (but not for remote connections). For enabling authentication for WebDAV you will have to specify the credentials NVSD uses digest-access authentication
The ports that communicate with the software can be updated at any time please refer to the section “Modifying the Data Port" included in the NVSD documentation.
