Rapid Recovery Linux agents by default uses 15% of volume size or 100Gb (whichever that is lower) for the .blksnap directory in every volume.
In some cases, a resize of this directory might be required, such as lack of free space in the volume.
The settings file values.xml is to be edited to resize the .blksnap directory.
For linux agents previous to version 6.2.1, this file can be found in the next folder:
/opt/apprecovery/mono/etc/mono/registry/LocalMachine/software/apprecovery/agent/agentsettingslinux
For linux agents version 6.2.1 and above, this file can be found in the next folder:
/root/.mono/registry/CurrentUser/software/apprecovery/agent/agentsettingslinux
There are two parameters that can be changed, "MaxDataStorageSize" and "DataStorageSizePercent".
The default is 100 for MaxDataStorageSize and 15 for DataStorageSizePercent.
"MaxDataStorageSize" sets the maximum data storage size in absolute size in Gigabytes, while "DataStorageSizePercent" sets the maximum data storage size in percentage of the volume size.
Whichever that is lower size of "MaxDataStorageSize" or "DataStorageSizePercent" will take effect for each volume.
For example:
Changing the values of any of them to 0 will cause the values to be ignored and the default will be used.
Changing the values will affect behavior for ALL volumes.
After editing the file, the Rapid Recovery agent service should be restarted for this to take effect. You might see the change in size of .blksnap directory only after you take a snapshot of the volume.
The values should not be changed unless required. It might cause issues with snapshots.
