Ever since vRanger 7.2, vSphere 4.1 environment, including ESXi 4.1 and vCenter 4.1 are no longer supported.
This is also mentioned in vRanger Release notes
In order to perform required tasks in vRanger 7.2, vSphere environment should be on at least version 5.
Preferably with the latest update applied.
