There are 2 ways of modifiying this value:
1.Changing the following value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AppRecovery\Core\exportQueue\MaxConcurrentExports
to the desired number of concurrent exports
Restart the core service to activate the new value.
2. Use the attached Powershell script which sets the desired number of concurrent exports without a core service restart. This may come in handy as the export performance may be affected both on the repository and on the Virtual environment side and some tinkering as of the optimal number for each specific environment needs to be performed.
To run the script you need Powershell 3.0 or later (Windows 2012 or later; can be installed on Windows2008R2) and that the execution policy is set to “remotesigned” or more permissive.
Run the script and, when prompted, enter the number of parallel exports you want to try. The change is confirmed before the script exits. Refreshing the Core GUI shows that the new number of parallel exports was set.
The script works both in RapidRecovery 6.0.x and AppAssure 5.4.x
