Backups or restores through SQL Management Studio fail while the Rapid Recovery agent service is running. The backup or restore process will fail with the following errors:
Example from Microsoft SQL Management Studio:
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlError: Exclusive access could not be obtained because the database is in use. (Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo)
Example from AppRecoveryPM logs:
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): Lock request time out period exceeded.
