Replication job fails very quickly within seconds and gives error message in log detail of :
unable to write log file to path C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software \vRanger\Service\Logs\User\Tasks\Replication
Installation/upgrade issue
1. Make sure you have a copy of your most recent license file.
2. Uninstall vRanger Application ( Upon uninstall from add \ remove programs a prompt appears choose "NO" so that only the vRanger Application is uninstalled and not the vranger pro db as well as the vranger pro application which is what will happen if "YES" is choosen.
3. Once vRanger is uninstalled delete the Quest Software folder located under C:\Program Files(x86)
4. Reinstall vRanger Application from a Full install not an upgrade installer exe and point to existing vRanger Pro DB
5. At this point vRanger will have to be reconfigured from scratch. Readd Virtual Center(s) and or ESX(i) hosts,configure new replications and or backup jobs, recreate \ point to existing repositories.
