We have seen an increase on customers being unable to open Managed Installs or/and Software Inventory pages for the KACE SMA (System Images or Scripted Installs for the KACE SDA). A generic red banner error shows at the top "There was an error retrieving the data for this page. Please refresh the page. If the error persists, try resetting the default page layout".
This is suspected to be caused by antivirus products. Although we've only seen reports of this issue for customers running Kaspersky, other antivirus products may also cause this issue.
There are many situations which may cause this same type of error. If this is happening on other pages or without AV installed, logs may need to be reviewed.
To quickly verify that Kaspersky is causing the issue, disable or uninstall it. If the page loads fine, follow this KB Article to add the exclusion for the SMA:

This can also apply to other AV products. The error can also be caused by interrupting the page load.
