How to get the patching compliance for a given amount of patches (MS17-010 as an example) -
Description
Regulary it is needed to check for patch compliance.
This is always needed to verify that all systems are patched correctly. -
Resolution
Create a report using the nessesary informations.
As an example it will be shown with the MS17-10 containing:KB4012212KB4012215KB4012598KB4015549
for the different operatings systems.
The example report is attached.This report is provided AS IS and KACE Support does not support his.To modify the report regarding your needs, open it and change the filters.
It needs to be copied to the clientdrop-Folder of the K1000 and can imported over Settings | Ressources | Import.To create it by yourself, open the Wizard, and choose as Topic Software and as Subtopic Device.
Check the Checkboy Only show rows from Software with at least one Device row
Choose the nessesary fields for Software and Device.
Select the correct order regarding your needs.
Create a Filter with Display Name contains the nessesary KB-IDs
(Example: Display Name contains KB4012598 )
Link them with Match any of the Following -
