A powershell script to address the issue has been prepared. The script can be run with or without parameters.
Run it without any parameters and you have screen output only.
Run it with the -txt parameter and you have both screen and and a .txt output (located in your downloads folder)
Run it with the -csv parameter you have both screen and and a .csv output (located in your downloads folder)
Run it with both -csv and -txt parameters and you get both types of outputs + screen
(please note that the first line in the CSV file is the core name, the total data and the date it was generated. To eliminate it use the -nocsvheader parameter)
For instance, running the line below gets the following result on the screen and the csv content below:
PS C:\temp> .\get-agentsprotectedsize.4.ps1 -csv -nocsvheader
Core: W2012R2-0
Total Protected Data: 948.31GB
AgentName Type TotalRecoveryPoints TotalProtectedData
--------- ---- ------------------- ------------------
Trion Protected 183 859.78GB
w2012r2-1 Protected 148 56.79GB
w2012r2-2 Protected 429 31.73GB
Results saved to C:\Users\Administrator\Downloads\W2012R2-TUDOR-0_DataSize_2016-03-02_03-29-35-PM.csv
CSV file content:
#TYPE System.Management.Automation.PSCustomObject
"AgentName","Type","TotalRecoveryPoints","TotalProtectedData"
"Trion","Protected","183","859.78GB"
"w2012r2-Tudor-1","Protected","148","56.79GB"
"w2012r2-Tudor-2","Protected","429","31.73GB"
The script is attached to this KB article.
Please note that the script works both with Rapid Recovery 6.0.x and AppAssure 5.4.x
Powershell 3.0 or later (installed by default on Windows 2012 and later) is needed.
