When enabling Performance Investigator (PI) monitoring of an existing SQL Server or Oracle agent already being monitored by Foglight, an error message states that there is insufficient resources.
The message refers to resource availability on the embedded Foglight Agent Manager (FglAM), even though the Foglight user has selected a different external FglAM for the SQL PI Repository.
Why does the resource limitation errors appear even though a different FglAM is being used for SQL PI?
When adding a new DB/Host for monitoring, an error message that the Agent Manager has insufficient memory comes up.
How memory resource allocations can be changed?
One of the FglAMs, either the embedded FglAM or a remote FglAM has not been allocated enough JVM heap resources as per Foglight for Databases deployment guide available for download from here.
