Backup of a specific agent fails with the following error or similar:
System.AggregateException: One or more errors occurred. ---> Replay.Core.Contracts.Transfer.CoreTransferFailedException: The transfer of one or more volume images from a protected machine to the Core has failed ---> System.AggregateException: One or more errors occurred. ---> Replay.Core.Contracts.Transfer.CoreVolumeTransferFailedException: The transfer failed for volume 'C:\' ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond
One possible cause for this error is that port 8009 may be in use by another application on the Agent server itself.
To test this, run the following command from an elevated command prompt on the agent:
netstat -ano | find "8009"
The output from this will tell you which application is listening on, or has an established connection on port 8009.
If the output shows an application other than AppAssure using this port, then please change the data transfer port setting for this agent on the core.
Agent Name - Configuration - Transfer settings - Transfer data server port - Change
Ensure that the new port is actually free on the agent by running the same command as above and replacing with the new port number.
