You can configure appliance network settings to meet the changing needs of your environment.
For the virtual and physical versions of the KACE Systems Management Appliance (SMA), network settings are configured during the initial login to the Command Line Console, which uses the konfig/konfig credentials. For K1 as a Service, the appliance is preconfigured with a static IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway. You do not use the Command Line Console to configure settings. After network settings are configured, you can view or change these settings in the Administrator Console at any time. Saving changes to these settings reboots the appliance. Total reboot downtime is one to two minutes, provided that the changes result in a valid configuration.
