After upgrading from an older version of the KACE Systems Management Appliance (SMA) or after changing mail settings, it may be noted that notification emails from the Service Desk cease. Upon reviewing logs, it is noted that the following error exists:
SMTP<< 554 5.2.0 STOREDRV.Submission.Exception:SendAsDeniedException.MapiExceptionSendAsDenied; Failed to process message due to a permanent exception with message Cannot submit message.

Note: This is most commonly seen when using Office365 and no alt email address. If a unique alt email address exists for each queue or an alternative relay method is used and this error is still received, please contact technical support.
