Mac Agent does not report inventory to K1 if upgrade did not succeed (4277344)

Steps To Reproduce:
================
1.Install K1 6.0GA and upgrade it all the way to 6.3.113397. At this point, install 6.3.306 agent build on a mac client. Next, upgrade K1 to 6.3.113398 via kbin and finally to 6.4.116719 via kbin.
2.Once the K1 has been upgraded to 6.4, go to settings | provisioning | Update Agents page and upload agent bundle 6.4.145.( On the same "Update Agent settings" page, click on "enabled", "all devices" and hit "save".)
3.Next, force an inventory from K1 for this mac client on K1.

Actual Results:
================
Mac client does not get upgraded to 6.4.145 agent build and nor is inventory reported to K1 from this client.

Expected Results:
====================
Mac clients should get upgraded from 6.3.306 to proper 6.4 build.

NOTES:
======
1. Kupdater does download build 6.4.145 on mac client but it doesn't get installed.
2. After hitting a force inventory from K1 for this client machine, the inventory is not reported back to K1 from 6.3.306 agent.
I happened to manually do a "runkbot 2 0" from the client and still no luck. Logs are enclosed for this scenario named "Kagent-mac-take1.log".
3. scenario 2=> I happened to install a 6.3.306 agent build on a clean mac 10.9 client and tried to get it to report to this upgraded K1. No entry gets created for this machine on K1. Also, doing a "runkbot 2 0" did not create a record for this machine on K1.
