In Dell's SDP Catalog, severity is now used for classification instead of importance. When looking at updates directly from Dell's support site, this may cause some confusion as importance is currently being used. The information in the KACE SMA can be confirmed directly from the xml located in Dell's SDP Catalog cab file.

Sometimes when downloading patch files for the Dell Updates catalog, a failure can occur due to checksum mismatch.

When a pre-existing Dell update gets updated, it has been observed that the filename and download location remains the same. If there is a lapse of time between when the file gets updated and the information being updated in the SDP Catalog and the subsequent KACE SMA catalog update, checksum failures can be observed as the checksum would have changed since it's a new file. The KACE SMA catalog is updated every Monday regarding the SDP Catalog information. If a checksum failure is observed, it is advised to confirm after the following Monday update and if the failure still persists, please feel free to reach out to KACE Support.
If it is determined that the failure is a result of the Dell SDP Catalog not being updated, this can only be resolved by Dell and may take some time.
