The SQL Agent - Long Running Jobs alarm becomes active when a SQL Agent job has been running for considerably longer than its average run duration. The default threshold for this alarm is 200% of average run duration but you can change the threshold to a value suitable for your environment.
When this alarm occurs, look at the SQL Agent Jobs page in the Support Services drilldown to view the long running SQL Agent Job.
