Unable to shutdown Fglam or shutdown it's process. A new process reappears as soon as the first process has been killed.
Cause
Cause 1
The fglam was started up as root or another account in which the service account does not have permissions to shutdown
Cause 2
The Fglam's "Watchdog" process is still running.
a. The watchdog will restart the fglam automatically if it's process was killed or if the fglam crashes.
Resolution
Workaround 1
Check to make sure the fglam is not running as a different account than the service account
a. For linux users
i. ls -la /tmp directory as sudo/root and delete the .agentfiles
ii. ps -ef |egrep -i watchdog\|agent
a) ensure the watchdog and agentmanager processes are not running as root or a different account
iii. kill -9 the watchdog process
iv. next stop the fglam via init script
a)sudo /etc/init.d/fglam stop
b. For Windows users
i. kill the qcn_watchdog.exe process
ii. shutdown the fglam service
