How to modify rule " DBSS - Error Log Size"? (87629)

The rule "DBSS - Error Log Size" should fire only for the current log file and not for the archived log file.

How to adjust the rule so that it fires only for current log files?

Modify the scope of the rule so that it will fire only for the current log file. Before modifying the rule, create a copy of the rule and keep it as a backup of the original rule. Do not forget to disable the backup rule.

To modify the scope of the rule, follow the steps below:

1). Open the "Rules Management" dashboard, search for the rule and open it

2). Select the tab "Rule Definition"

3). Change the rule scope from:

DBSS_Error_Log_List
to
DBSS_Error_Log_List where archive_no ='0'

4). Save the rule
