Cause
The metrics (from the mbeans) for a managed server are collected by two agents - a) the agent monitoring the individual managed server and b) by the agent monitoring the admin server. The admin server agent thus collects metrics for its own and for all of the managed servers. We do that so as to make these metrics available even if users choose to monitor only the admin server.
Collecting metrics on all the managed servers can consume a long time depending on the size of the Domain, how many managed servers are present and what kind of resources they have. If their environment has a concern on how long it takes. -
Resolution
The best way is to configure the agent monitoring admin server so as not to collect metrics on the Managed Servers. If they already have individual agents monitoring the managed servers, this configuration would result in no data loss.
This exclusion of managed servers from the admin server agent collection can be done by modifying collector\weblogic-discovery-admin-x.config file. The following excludes section needs to be added at two places in the config file. Modified config file needs to be in the agent-override directory and a restart of the admin server is required for the settings to take effect. (Take caution when modifying this config on the FMS as the changes would apply to *any* weblogic admin server agent connecting to the FMS). The alternate option would be to create the file on the admin server itself under the javaeeagent\agent-override\collector and make the modifications there."Servers": { # ServerMBean

),The other option you can try is adjusting the sample rate. It's within the same config file, look for DefaultSampleRate = 30000; which is every 5mins.
