Windows FglAM installs successful but generates an "unexpected error" -
Description
When running the fglam-5_5_5_4-windows-x86_64.exe on a Windows 7 OS from the CMD line the installation completed with the following error:
Foglight Agent Manager encountered some errors:
ERROR: An unexpected error was detected that prevents the FglAM installer from continuing. Please contact technical support. -
Cause
Due to the enhanced User Access Control security with Windows Vista and Windows 7 the CMD prompt must be set to run as Administrator.

Resolution
Click on Start | click "All Programs" | click on Accessories | right-click on "Command Prompt" icon
Select click "Properties" click on the "shortcut" tab | click the advanced button at the bottom | select the check box that says "Run as Administrator". Select OKSelecting the cmd prompt via Start | All Programs | Accessories | Command Prompt is the ONLY way to ensure your command line excution is run as administrator.
Alternatively the following Workaround can be implemented:Using the built-in Administrator account, run the installation from the command line, using the following:- For FglAM, use: fglam.exe -i
