Description
SQL Statements and Top SQL statements are not displaying within the "SQL Performance | SQL Statements" dashboard. All other database related data is being collected.

Cause
CAUSE 1Within the agent configuration (viewed via the latest agent log file), the Top SQL collection appears to be disabled:colDisplayName=Top SQLscolName=DBSS_Top_SQLscolEnable=0CAUSE 2

There were a huge number of rows in the master..monSysSQLText system table ln one example there were 300000 rows as compared to 50000 rows in a typical enviromment. This caused the Top SQL collection run for more than 50 minutes. -
Resolution
RESOLUTION 11). Within the Agent Status page, select the database agent that is displaying this issue.2). Enable the Top SQL collection (Collection details -> Edit button)
3). Save the changes
4). Restart the agent
Once this is set, the SQL Statements and Top SQL data should start to display.RESOLUTION 2
1). Edit the properties for the database agent in Agent Status and increase these values- DB Connection Timeout (milliseconds) to 300000
- On-Demand DB Query Connection Timeout (milliseconds) to 300000
2). Increase the Top SQL timeout for the collection to 300 (Collection details -> Edit button)
3). Restart the agent
Once this is set, the SQL Statements and Top SQL data should start to display.RESOLUTION 3
