When using a Foglight Agent Manager (FglAM) to monitor a remote Linux client, how can it be confirmed, that the agent is able to run SSH commands on the remote host?
From the server where the Fglam is installed, you can run the following commands:
ssh <remote monitoring user name>@<IP address of remote host> /usr/bin/test -x /bin/uname && /bin/uname -a
Use this command if the uname binary is not in the default location as above.
ssh <remote monitoring user name>@<IP address of remote host> /usr/bin/test -x /usr/bin/uname && /usr/bin/uname -a
