The all-in-one APM could not see any hit search result since this early morning.
Other symptom: 2 transaction views are still showing data updated 3 min ago but there is no any hit search result. Setup command console does show coming traffic from the monitoring port.
In archiver log, errors are shown below.
2014-02-24 09:44:22,836 ERROR [com.quest.eu.archiver.core.query.QueryFindHitsCommand] Unexpected error
com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc4.MySQLSyntaxErrorException: Table 'shard2.t_arch_aspect_65' doesn't exist
The symptoms for this problem are usually that the hit search returns zero results even though the session search shows that data is being captured for the same time period. This usually occurs in low volume test environments.
The tables are not missing, the exceptions are being caused by this bug in the hit search logic.
Status:
APMDATA-995 logged and this is fixed in APM patch version 5.9.3_20131029_15 (115847) which could be downloaded at https://support.quest.com/download-product-select
