In Oracle 11g and above, every weekday window now has a pre-defined Resource Plan called DEFAULT_MAINTENANCE_PLAN, which becomes active once the related window opens. When the plan becomes active it changes the resource_manager_plan parameter.
This results in numerous alarms from “DBO - Initialization Parameter Method” since the maintenance job that dynamically changes “resource_manager_plan” from null to DEFAULT_MANAGER_PLAN, and back again.
RESOLUTION #1 *RECOMMENDED*
Add a rule filter to the "DBO - Installation Parameter Modified" alarm for the database agent if it is not already present.
RESOLUTION #2
Disable the "DBO - Installation Parameter Modified" alarm for the database agent
RESOLUTION #3
To disable the DEFAULT_MAINTENANCE_PLAN you can use the steps as suggested in Oracle Support note 786346.1
