Sybase agent cannot connect. The following error is in the Sybase agent log

In the Sybase agent logs we found the following messages

Your sybase home directory is /opt/quest_dev/fglam/state/default/agents/SybaseCartridge/5.5.8.28/config/Sybase/./12.5. Check the environment variable SYBASE if it is not the one you want!
Using locale name "en_US.ISO8859-1" defined in environment variable LC_ALL
Locale name "en_US.ISO8859-1" doesn't exist in your /opt/quest_dev/fglam/state/default/agents/SybaseCartridge/5.5.8.28/config/Sybase/./12.5/locales/locales.dat file
There was a value set automatically for env LANG=en_US.ISO8859-1, LC_ALL=en_US.ISO8859-1 for the service ID.
Changed the values to default and put it in .profile as
LANG=default
export LANG
LC_ALL=default
export LC_ALL
