The SAP Availability process generates alarms in Foglight stating:
<Server> servers process type se.sap<instance> has become unavailable This affects service to the R/3 instance.
In the SAP start profile it shows processes that should be running, but when checking the server they are not. In this instance the processes were rslgcol1 and rslgsend with extensions co.sap and se.sap.
Check the diagnostic snapshot for the error.
Then check:
1. all files form /usr/sap/PF0/SYS/profile (on the client machine)
2. under /usr/sap/PF0/D00/work all files matching : *.log, *.trc, *.old and dev_*
3.check running processes a ps -ef |grep /usr/sap and pipe it to a file.
