Logfilter agent is causing a core dump in a Solaris 5.10 system.
ECHO <OSCartridge/5.5.4/LogFilter/LogFilter_on_fbi-agent> VERBOSE [stderr Reader] com.quest.glue.core.jfogbank.process.AgentProcess - stderr: Agent exited with uncaught signal 6
ECHO <OSCartridge/5.5.4/LogFilter/LogFilter_on_fbi-agent> VERBOSE [stdout Reader] com.quest.glue.core.jfogbank.process.AgentProcess - Agent output stream stdout closed. The agent has most likely exited abruptly.
ECHO <OSCartridge/5.5.4/LogFilter/LogFilter_on_fbi-agent> VERBOSE [stderr Reader] com.quest.glue.core.jfogbank.process.AgentProcess - stderr: Agent dumped a core file
ECHO <OSCartridge/5.5.4/LogFilter/LogFilter_on_fbi-agent> VERBOSE [stderr Reader] com.quest.glue.core.jfogbank.process.AgentProcess - stderr: unexpected exit with code 0
There maybe an issue with the logfilter agent file index on a Solaris 5.10 server handling rolling logs.
The core dump generated on this case suggested that is what was failing a the time the core dump was generated.
Replace the attached binaries in your logfilter agent.
Deactivate the LogFilter agents, and backup then replace the following files under fglam directory:
./state/default/agents/OSCartridge/5.5.4/bin/LogFilter
./state/default/agents/OSCartridge/5.5.4/lib/libfglperf.so.4.2.1
./agents/OSCartridge/<build number>/bin/LogFilter
./agents/OSCartridge/<build number>/lib/libfglperf.so.4.2.1
