Fglam conflict causing connectivity issues with the FMS (4223853)

FMS is reporting that there is already a display name connected to the FMS, causing connection disruption with the Fglam

The host [<hostname>/<IP>/<UniqueID>] connected using a display name already used by [<hostname>/<IP>/<UniqueID>]. Connections from [<hostname>/<IP>] will not be accepted until it is configured to have a unique host display name

There is another Fglam connected to the FMS using the same hostname

Workaround

1. Locate the offending server through the Foglight Management Server Logs.
2. <Foglight_Home>\logs
3. Run a full search using the hostname as the string
4. The Fglam connection will be displayed with the <hostname>/<IP>
5. The first search will display either the offending or correct IP
6. Continue the search for the second line that displays the second host IP
7. Once located, log into the offending host and shutdown the offending Fglam.
8. If data collection is corrupted or settings are not properly associated. Do the following
9. Remove the host from Data Management
10. Management server drilldown > Servers> Data Management Dashboard
11. Expand Host Model> Expand Hosts > Search for the Hostname in question
12. Once found, remove the host
13. The correct fglam will refresh on the FMS momentarily
