"Invalid column name drive" errors in the DBSS_File and DBSS_Logical_Disks collections -
Description
In a server with a case sensitive collation the DBSS_File and DBSS_Logical_Disks collections fail with an error similar to the following.
ERROR [AGENTNAME-lowPriorityPool-1-[DBSS_Logical_Disks][2021/08/03 09:10:11]] com.quest.qsi.fason.core.collection.processor.InstanceProcessor - Failed to run DBSSFileProcessor processor of DBSS_Logical_Disks collection.java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed to execute collection [DBSS_Logical_Disks], reason=[Foglight][SQLServer JDBC Driver][SQLServer]Invalid column name 'drive'. -
Cause
The DBSS_File collection refers to the column as drive with a lower case d, but the rest of the script including the temp table creation uses Drive with an upper case D. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
This issue has been fixed in the 5.9.7.22 and higher versions of the 5.9.7 SQL Server hotfix cartridges.
STATUS
This issue has been logged as defect FOG-2688 for Foglight 6.0 and has been fixed in the 6.1.0.10 and higher releases of the SQL Server cartridge.
