In the SQL Performance Investigator (SQL PI), Workload (or CPU ) | instance View, there is no data to display.
When navigating to "Workload | Instance View | SQL Statements", a message displayed : "No SQL Statements were found waiting for "Workload" related resources during the selected time."
When disabling SQL PI everything reverts back to normal.
CAUSE 1
The SQL PI environment does not meet the sizing requirements of the product.
CAUSE 2
"C:\Dell" directory was not excluded from OfficeScan application
CAUSE 3
Foglight Management Server (FMS) timezone was incorrectly set to America/Los Angeles which caused time & date mismatch between SQL PI and FMS.
RESOLUTION 1
Please review the Foglight for databases sizing guide to confirm the sizing requirements have been met.
RESOLUTION 2
Window Protection or Anti-Virus tool may negatively impact CPU and system performance of machines running Foglight and the Agent Manager.
To reduce resource consumption it is required to exclude the following directories from being scanned by the tool:
