Quiesced backup of an ESX 4 or 4.1 VM with multiple disks fails with Error 2800
Descripción
When performing a quiesced backup of an ESX 4 or 4.1 VM with multiple disks, and the disks have the same name, backups may fail with the error message "Backup failed: Error: 2800 - filter file contains the wrong number of blocks"
Causa
This occurs because the datastore for the first disk is used for all snapshots. This will cause the filter file to have the same name and datastore ID leaving only one filter file for the multiple VMDK's.
Resolución
In order to successfully backup these VMs, rename the disks to avoid duplicate names.
