Does Toad Data Point (TDP) support importing Excel Files into Toad Intelligence Central (TIC) as a snapshot?
This is currently not possible.
A solution is to import the Excel file into Toad Intelligence Central's MySQL database and then export it as a snapshot to TIC.
Please see below steps:
1) a. Import the Excel file while connected to the TIC MySQL database:
b. Import the Excel file while connected to the TIC MySQL database (here the "imported_data" DB was created manually as an example):
2) The MySQL table is created:
3) Right-click on the data and choose to Publish Data:
4) Publish the data as a snapshot:
