The network drives are not visible on any dialog box in Toad when running the application on a Windows 7 computer. The same network drives appear in Windows Explorer.
As an example:
1. Create in Automation Designer an application with the "Execute Script" action
2. Right-click "Execute Script" | Select Properties
3. Click the "Add file" Button
Expected results:
The network drives currently mapped on the computer are listed on this screen.
Environment:
Windows 7 SP1 - 64bits
User running Toad for Oracle doesn't have the right permissions to see the network drives.
WORKAROUND:
Check that if Toad for Oracle is running with the Administrator account, then this account has the right permissions to see the network drives:
1. Right-click on the shortcut of the application then click on Properties.
2. Click on the Shortcut tab | Click on the Advanced button.
3. Check whether the "Run as Administrator" box is checked.
4. Confirm with your System Administrator that the Administrator account can see the network drives. If not, disable the option listed in step 3.
