Welcome to Foglight for Java EE Technologies

Foglight for Java EE Technologies gives you the tools you need to monitor the availability and performance of your Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE) applications and application servers.

These Release Notes cover the resolved issues, known issues, workarounds, and other important information about the 5.9.9 release of Foglight for Java EE Technologies. Review all sections before starting the installation.

New in this release

This release contains the following updates:

  • FAPM-1034 - Support Tomcat 8.5.[0-6].
  • FAPM-450 - Hide Cache Metrics for web applications when JBoss version is later than version 6.
  • FAPM-447 - Hide Incoming Message Rate message in the JMS Message Topics tile when JBoss version is later than version 5.
  • FAPM-310 - Hide EJB stateful, stateless, entity bean, and message driven when JBoss version is later than version 6.
  • FAPM-59 - Remove unvailable pool metrics when JBoss version is later than version 5.
  • FAPM-14 - Hide Method Ready Count as this metric is not vailable starting with JBoss version 5.
  • FAPM-11 - Hide JMS Cache when JBoss version is later than version 4.

 

This release contains the following new feature:

  • FAPM-8 - Collect and display the data of ProcessorCPUUsage for JBoss.
