You can unzip and view the Configuration Manager logs using the Log Viewer.

On the Navigation pane, click System | Information. |
For each task of a discovery, you can view collection options, errors, and statistics. These may be helpful when you experience failed collections, data that does not match your expectations, or when working on performance issues.
