Category Events Page
Note: Available for Oracle 10g and later.
The Category Events page contains a single table which shows statistics associated with wait events for the Category selected at the top of the Waiting Events page.
To open the Category Events page
- Select the Spotlight on Oracle RAC connection in the Spotlight Browser.

Click Activity | Waiting Events Page | Category Events.
Grid: Events in the category
This table contains data only when a wait category (and, optionally, a wait event) is selected in the drop-down list at the top of the page.

The amount of time consumed per second by the specified event as a percentage of the total |

Avg Wait |
The average time taken for a single wait event of the specified type. |
