When re-installing Spotlight after uninstalling, the “Select the Products to Install” window shows “Installed” for Spotlight on Oracle.
LocalManifest.xml still has the Spotlight on Oracle entry.
1. Go to the following path:
For Windows 2008, 7, and Vista: C:\ProgramData\Quest Software\Quest Installer\LocalManifest
For Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Quest Software\Quest Installer\LocalManifest
2. Back up a copy of the LocalManifest.xml file and open the original LocalManifest.xml.
3. Clear entry from the tag <Comp name="Spotlight_On_Oracle"…> to the close tag </Comp>.
