Alarm errors received: "Collection SQL Virtual Log Files Count failed and Collection Mirroring failed: Insufficient privileges" -

User has followed the instructions at https://doc.spotlightcloud.io/monitoring-sqlserver/connection/accountgrantpermissions/ as they cannot use SA Role account to monitor instances. They receive the following two alarm errors:
"Collection 'SQL Virtual Log Files Count' failed : Insufficient privileges to count virtual log files [50000]"
"Collection 'Mirroring' failed : Only members of the sysadmin fixed server role can perform this operation. [21089]"

Resolución
SQL Server instance can be monitored by granting the permissions outlined in the above link. As a limitation of SQL Server, the following monitoring functions require sysadmin privileges, hence alarms relating to the below collections will be raised:- Mirroring
- Number of virtual log files (VLFs)
Use the Alarms feature of Spotlight Cloud Diagnostic app to disable the above alarms on the effected instances.
