Does Rapid Recovery support Microsoft Windows Server 2025?
Microsoft Windows Server 2025 is expected to be officially supported on a future Rapid Recovery release, however, the following test has been performed on Rapid Recovery 6.8 and 6.9:
Rapid Recovery 6.8 and 6.9 successfully backed up Microsoft Windows Server 2025 like any previous Windows Server version.
Rapid Recovery 6.8 and 6.9 mounted the recovery point, and the data is accessible. Make sure to mount the recovery point as writable to avoid possible problems with accessing certain folders due to permissions.
The virtual export child tasks complete successfully and the exported virtual machine is bootable. If Windows 2025 is unavailable as an option, use Windows 2022 instead. It can be changed to Windows 2025 on the hypervisor directly once the machine has been exported.
However, the main task fails with the following error:
Exception chain:
TevoMountReplay failed with error -2147024846 (0x80070032 - The request is not supported)
