Recovery points mount successfully using core UI but when using Local Mount Utility (LMU) you receive "TevoMountReplay failed with error -2147024775 (0×80070079 – The semaphore timeout period has expired".
Rapid Recovery users may see "Core service cannot be reached. Please check the network connection and if the service is running."
Rapid Recovery 6.x
1. Make sure all Recovery Points are dismounted from LMU
2. Stop the Core service
3. On the LMU server, open the registry, go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AppRecovery\LocalMountUtility\UserSettings and change CoreConnectionTimeout to 00:45:00
4. Open registry and Extend AAVDisk and AAVStor driver NetworkTimeout and AsyncNetworkTimeout to 600 000(decimal value)
1. Go to HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\AAVDisk\Parameters\
1.1 Change the {Decimal} value of NetworkTimeout from 900 to 600 000
1.2. Change the {Decimal} value of AsyncNetworkTimeout from 900 to 600 000
2. Go to HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\AAVStor\Parameters\
2.1 Change the {Decimal} value of NetworkTimeout from 900 to 600 000
2.2 Change the {Decimal} value of AsyncNetworkTimeout from 900 to 600 000
5. Open an elevated command prompt and run
a. sc stop aavdisk
b. sc start aavdisk (If the driver fails to start, then reboot the core server)
6. Start the Core service
7. Try to mount the recovery point again
