Issue
Sometimes it might be necessary to investigate the Migration Agent log files. The log files are stored in this default directory (on the user’s workstation):
%Temp%\QUADROtech; E.G. C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\QUADROtech
There is also an option to retrieve these log files directly from PST Flight Deck Server.
Solution
You can request the log files from the PST Flight Deck Admin Console (Manage -> Users / Files):
1. Filter the particular PST file (located on the workstation you want to retrieve the log files for)
2. Go to “Actions” in the ribbon or right click on the file and select “Request Client Log file”
Then the command will be queued to Migration Agent. Relevant Migration Agent will retrieve the command once it asks for new for items next time (will contact PST Flight Deck Server next time).
3. When Migration Agent retrieves the command and uploads the log files you can find them in the “Logs” directory on the PST Flight Deck Core Server:
C:\Program Files (x86)\QUADROtech\Logs
The log files are zipped and have this filename convention: UserName_WorkstationName_Timestamp.zip; E.G.: PEPI3_L2-PEPI-MA-03_1711240510.zip
