Cannot add a tape library that is connected to a Netapp filer to Netvault as a tape library
We see the following error in the logs:
Severe Error 2006/08/24 08:50:19 0 Media SVR-BACKUP-02 Exceeding license for DSD(TM) (have '4' licensed for '0')
Causa

When trying to add the NDMP drives to the filer manually using the "scan filer only" option, Netvault actually added the drives as SCSI drives and NDMP drives to the changer ("mc0")
Resolución

WORKAROUND:
1) Add the drives automatically
2) Select "Manage Devices" and changed view into "Tree View"
3) Select the changer (usually called "mc0") and click "modify"
4) Delete the automatically added drives
5) Click "View Drives" to view the changer (in this case called "MC0")
6) Action click to "open" the changer node to browse the available SCSI and NDMP nodes and the associated drives
7) Run the "storage alias" command on the connected filer to determine which NDMP channel (eg: st0) is mapped to which drive serial number
8) Then add the corresponding drives to the Library in the order determined by the serial number to the drive bays as shown in the Tape Library GUI
