When using the local worker on the migration controller to do a migration on 20.13 the following error message occurs:
[Error] The command line credential arguments are incomplete and this workstation does not have credentials cached in the worker.
Auto discover user information is filled in on the setting document under required settings/ additional. Because the worker is on the controller it does not have a connectivity connector, the auto discover login credentials come from the settings document when the connectivity connector is not used or configured.
As a workaround, you can install the worker software on the controller just to obtain the connectivity connector. But do not use the worker that you install. Follow in the instructions below:
1.When installing the worker, call the worker “local”and do not let it take the default machine name, fill out all the relevant info. If you do not call the worker name local, then when you load it from C:\Program Files\Binary Tree\CMT for Exchange\Worker it comes up with the name the worker install gave it on the monitor page, so it was important to call it “local”
2. When loading the worker, do not load the worker icon from the desktop but go into C:\Program Files\Binary Tree\CMT for Exchange\Worker and load the worker exe from there.
3. When looking at the monitor page there should only be one "Local" choice.
Another alternative is not to user the worker on the controller which most customers do not. Just install a regular worker machines and let the attached workers do the migrations instead of using the worker on the controller.
