Introducing built-in Windows Feature Updates in version 10.2 of the KACE Systems Management Appliance. This new feature is similar to the existing patching mechanism, but with separation in navigation and so on, to prevent mix-ups with regular patching. This feature is disabled by default and requires changes to downloads and subscriptions in order to enable.
Resolución
To enable Windows Feature Updates, it is first necessary to change both the subscriptions and download settings.
To enable the Windows Feature Updates Subscriptions:
Go to Security | Windows Feature Updates | Subscriptions
On an ORG enabled box, this will need to be done in each ORG
Click on Disabled in the Windows Feature Update Versions section
Only applies to Semi-Annual Channel
Change the radio button to Select versions
Place a check mark next to each version you wish to subscribe to
Click Ok
In the Locales section, click on the selected locale
Choose All Locales or Select Locales
If choosing Select Locales, place a check mark next to each desired locale
Click Ok
Click Save to save the subscription settings
After subscriptions are complete, it will be necessary to adjust the download settings, as they too are disabled by default.
To enable the Windows Feature Updates Download Settings:
Go to Security | Windows Feature Updates | Patch and Feature Update Download Settings
On an ORG enabled box, go to System | Settings | Patch and Feature Update Download Settings
For Feature Updates, there are only two choices:
Disabled
Files detected as missing
By default this is Disabled, but to enable it, you must choose Files detected as missing
