User tries the Google or MSN quick search bar at the top right of Toad for SQL Server. They get zero returns in their search results and may also get errors "Invalid settings for Quick Search."
RESOLUTION:
Make sure your proxy is set up correctly.
1. Launch Windows Control Panel.
2. Open the "Internet Options." (Alternatively, you can go into Microsoft Internet Explorer, and go to the menu Tools | Internet Options.)
3. In the Internet Options window, go to the Connections tab. Then click on LAN Settings.
4. Check with your Network Administrators to make sure these settings are correct.
