Error “Activation: Cannot replicate to or from an object whose name starts with "SHAREPLEX_". Skipping”

The following errors are observed when activating a config where the table’s name starts with “Shareplex_”:

The error occurs regardless of the case (upper or lower or mixed) of the string “Shareplex_” 

The string “Shareplex_” is a reserved word in SharePlex replication which cannot be used in the start of the name of objects in replication. 

Change the name of the object to be replicated so that it does not have the string “Shareplex_” in the beginning of the name. Then activate again. Or remove the object from config file if this is not possible and then activate. The error only occurs for the offending objects and the other objects will be brought into replication successfully.

SharePlex internal objects start with the string “Shareplex_” and such objects are not replicated as they only facilitate replication. So object names starting with such string are disallowed from replicating. Imagine if someone used wildcards to induct such objects and if such exclusion was not designed in the program code, SharePlex will pick up all internal tables/objects into replication which would result in problem with replication and corrupt SharePlex internal objects on target.
