Unable to modify items in the target as the Column "_CopySource" is being created in the target site as a required field
Descripción

Failing to modify a migrated item in the target as it is asking to fill up a column called "Copy Source" with internal name "_CopySource"

This column is read only but the item is requesting to have content added to it, this column was not present/visible in the source
Causa

_CopySource is an internal and out of the box column used when doing Move to and Copy to operations in SharePoint using the native SharePoint copy options
Resolución

RESOLUTION 1
For On-Prem Target
1. Before copying the items, disable document parsing using
Add-PSSnapin Microsoft.SharePoint.PowerShell
$web = Get-SPWeb "http://sp-2019:2424/"
$web.ParserEnabled = $false
$web.Update()
$web.Dispose()
2. After the copy, re-enable document parsing using
Add-PSSnapin Microsoft.SharePoint.PowerShell
$web = Get-SPWeb "http://sp-2019:2424/"
$web.ParserEnabled = $True
$web.Update()
$web.Dispose()

RESOLUTION 2
For SharePoint Online
Contact Quest Support for assistance stripping this column from the List and Item XML when doing the copy.
